Do I need any technical knowledge?+

No. The setup wizard walks you through every step — buying a domain, pointing it at your app, and connecting Stripe. It takes about 5 minutes and you don't need to touch any code.

What does my customer see?+

They visit your domain (e.g. johnsremaps.co.uk), enter their reg plate to see their car's details and available tuning options, choose a service, pick a time, and pay a deposit — all in under two minutes.

Do I need a Stripe account?+

Yes, to collect deposits. Stripe is free to sign up for and takes about 2 minutes. Once connected, deposits go directly into your bank account. We never handle your money.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. There are no contracts or minimum terms. Cancel from your Stripe subscription portal at any time — your app will stay active until the end of that billing period.

Can I use my existing domain?+

Yes. If you already have a domain or website, you can add a subdomain (like remap.yourdomain.co.uk) and point just that at your dashboard — your existing site won't be affected.

Your customers will access your remap app through your own web address — something like johnsautos.co.uk. You'll need to buy a domain name, which costs around £5–8 per year.

🛒 Where to buy

What to search for: Try your business name + "remap" (e.g. johnsautosremap.co.uk) or just your business name (e.g. johnsautos.co.uk). .co.uk is best for UK businesses and the cheapest.

Already have a website? You don't need a new domain — you can use a subdomain of your existing one, like remap.johnsautos.co.uk. No extra cost.

Find your domain → click DNS

Log in to your domain registrar or DNS provider
Find the DNS management or DNS records section
Add a new CNAME record
Set the Name/Host to www
Set the Value/Destination to cname.vercel-dns.com
Save the record. It can take 5–60 minutes to take effect.

Using Cloudflare? Add the CNAME record but set the proxy to DNS only (grey cloud, not orange). This is important — orange proxy breaks the SSL certificate.

How long does it take? Usually 5–30 minutes, but it can take up to 24 hours in rare cases. Once you've added the record, click the button below and we'll check for you.

Edit the page → add a Custom HTML block → paste your code → Update. (Classic editor: switch to the Text tab and paste there.)

Online Store → Pages → open or add a page → click the <> (Show HTML) button in the editor → paste your code → Save.

GoDaddy Website Builder

Edit your site → Add Section → search HTML → add the HTML/Embed element → paste your code → Done.

Any other website builder

Look for an Embed, Custom HTML or Code block, add it where you want the checker to appear, and paste your code in.
